Young People Love Snapchat More Than Any Other Social Media App
According to the semi-annual teen’s research survey conducted by Piper Jaffray, 47 percent of teens said Snapchat is their favorite social media platform, which far exceeds the next closest competitor.
Piper Jaffray’s survey found 24 percent of teens said Instagram was their favorite platform, nine percent of teens indicated Facebook was their favorite platform, and only seven percent of teens identified Twitter as their favorite platform.
This survey might help Snapchat with investors, as the tech startup has struggled to gain traction on Wall Street.
Morgan Stanley initially estimated that shares of Snapchat’s parent company, Snap Inc., could reach $28 within a year after it went public, but since has repeatedly “cut their share price target for Snapchat in half since the company’s March IPO.”< Back to Blog
